Iranian Epidote In the year 2000, excellent crystallized olive-green Epidote specimens on a Pistazite-Skarn matrix were found in the northwestern Iranian province Markazi at the Mt. Khowrin. Some specimens can still be found on the market with the erroneous labeling “Zagros range”, which was published in the beginning. A good opportunity for the collector to get one of the specimens with the nicely crystallized Epidote from a locality that is no longer in operation
